The Angels Blessed and Kissed a Star
and Heaven Sprinkled a Miracle on Us!!!

Once upon a time....a baby boy was born!!
Everyone in the kingdom celebrated on July 5, 2000,
when the little Prince was born.
Cameron weighed in at 5 pounds, 14 ounces,
and was 19 inches long. He was born at 12:36 a.m.
Welcoming Cameron home were
his "royal " family, his mom, dad, grandparents,
great grandmas, aunts, uncles, and cousins!
.....and they will live happily ever after.

Twinkle, twinkle tiny light, little eyes that shine so brignt.
A precious boy from heaven above, filled our hearts with so much love.
Cameron Mason Wiggins, age 1, died Thursday, July 5, 2001, at his home,
surrounded by his family.
Cameron was born July 5, 2000,
to David and Carrie Wiggins, where he brought pride and joy everyday.
He was a member of the Messiah Lutheran Church.
At the tender age of 5 1/2 months, Cameron became ill, with an undiagnosed progressive brain disorder,
with an MRI showing spots on the brain.
He fought many medical battles, including seizures, acid reflux, and feeding problems.
He had his first surgery at 7 months, where a Nissen Fundoplication was done,
a feeding G-tube was placed,to help control his acid reflux and
an eye tissue biopsy was done, with hopes of finding a reason for his disease.
A second surgery was done at 10 months to repair a hiatal hernia of the Fundoplication.
At 11 months a muscle biopsy was performed to once again, try to determine what his disease was.
Another MRI showed that the spots in the brain was progressing.
     Through all of his challenges,
Cameron was a happy, bright beautiful boy.  He made many friends at his hospitals,
and enjoyed flirting with all of his nurses.  He loved music,
watching TV ( Rollie Pollie Olie, and Pooh), playing with his cousin buddy, Brandie,
singing and talking with his Grandma Linda,  holding balloons, and riding in wagons!
He learned alot from his therapy friends, OT-Carrie, PT-Cynthia, and ST-Jean.
He holds gratitude to his doctors, DR Akerson, and Dr Miller,
who always found time to care about Cameron.
His Home Health Nurses, Cheri, and Donna were always a phone call away,
and Dr. Braer, Dr Andy and Dr. Post were there when we needed them.
The angels blessed and kissed a star
and heaven sprinkled a miracle on us,
Cameron Mason was a blessing to his family
and his big blue eyes and smiles
would melt your heart.
He is sadly missed by many
family members, and friends.

God saw that he was getting tired,
and a cure was not to be,
So He put his arms around him,
and whipsered, "Come with Me".

With tearful eyes we watched him suffer
and saw him fade away.
Although we loved him dearly,
we could not make him stay.

His heart full of love stopped beating
his happy little hands to rest,
God broke our hearts to prove to us
that he only takes the best.
